I'll admit there was a time when I didn't like black and white checkered floors because I had only really seen them in retro fifties diners...sure kind of fun but a bit too themey for my personal tastes. Now I know how wrong I was. Done right, these checkered floors can read timeless, classic and elegant. Consider me converted!
Bonus points if it's marble!
