Instagram Giveaway

Yesterday I hit 2000 followers on my Instagram account. This was my instagram goal for the year 2014, so I feel really happy to have surpassed it already! More important than numbers, however, are the amazing connections I've made with so many inspiring, supporting and uplifting people. I feel so blessed by the Instagram community.

To show my appreciation, I'm hosting a pretty fun giveaway! I will be doing a custom illustration for two lucky winners of a vignette or piece of furniture in their home! Winner can choose either a watercolour or a marker rendering!

My Bachelorette Pad: Christmas Decor via Instagram

Last year, I didn't decorate my apartment at all for the holidays, but this year, I've been creating pretty little Christmas vignettes all over my bachelorette pad. The more glitter the better!

^Ornaments in a bell jar. So simple, but so pretty!

^ I've always been a fan of tinsel Christmas trees. Some people call them tacky, but my love of vintage and sparkle just can't be contained. I've seen a few in antique shops displaying vintage ornaments, but finally found a mini one of my own at the local dollar store! 

Big thanks to M. for making me decorate this year (and delivering my tree, which I hope to post about soon!). It's finally feeling like home here thanks to you!

Just popping in today to share a glimpse into my daily life via my instagram feed.

My Style via Instagram

I'm no fashion blogger but I do put some effort into what I wear. I don't have anyone to take actual post photos of my outfits, but if you are curious about my sense of style you can always follow me on instagram! Here is a look at some of my recent spring looks:

1. I bought this dalmation dress from H&M in the fall, and I am so happy to finally get to wear it without tights. It looks so much cuter this way in my opinion
2. My pleated blush maxi skirt from Forever 21 is better than I even imagined.
3. Jewels from Love Obsessed...Can't wait to wear these beauties. Just need the right occasion.
4. All about the contrast with florals, chambray and jewels!

I Finally Got Instagram!

my first instagram pic ever!

Well Holly, you would most likely hate me then (although the thought of that truly torments me since I want to be your best friend) because I love snooping.  Whenever I'm at my friends' houses I'm always looking in their closets and drawers to see what they've got. I realize this makes me seem incredibly nosey... and I'm okay with that. I am a blogger after all.
And now I'm inviting you to snoop my life, because I FINALLY GOT INSTAGRAM. And I can snoop you right back.
My old phone bit the dust and I hopped on the iPhone bandwagon.
As of right now, however, I'm the instagram equivalent of Lindsay Lohan in Mean Girls when she eats her lunch alone in the bathroom....friendless.

Please ladies, lets be Instagram friends! I promise to post lots of pretty, decor related things (and probably a few too many photos of my cat). Plus, you'll get an inside look on my everyday happenings.
